I am very glad to be part of this thoughtful initiative.

In this post I have worn a beautiful floral printed Crepe Saree and a matching blouse of the same material. This peach printed Saree has a very fresh look and it’s perfect for your summer collection. This floral Saree is a breath of fresh air breezing in this summer heat. The colour is young and vibrant. The material gives a calm and soothing touch on the skin. It is a must have if you are a Saree lover. It is suitable for events like ethnic day, wedding or a party. This Saree is totally an attention grabber in the room full of people.

As you can see, I like minimal jewellery with this outfit, so an earring, a bracelet and a finger ring were the three sure shot accessory items to get my hands on. This Saree is a statement by itself and I would suggest that light and small jewellery will look outstanding with this outfit.

Ethnicity to me is something that every individual should celebrate; appreciate and innovate. It is diverse and multitudinous. Ethnicity keeps us connected with our origin and gives us a sense of belonging. To me, staying connected to my roots (Tripuri) is very important and I’ve always tried to display and share it through my fashion/style. Rnai/Rignai ( wrapper for loin) and Rsa (wrapper for covering the chest) is a handmade traditional dress of my tribe. It is worn by the ladies commonly at all events and at any time of the day. However, I as modern age girl I like to try out different outfits and Saree happens to be one of them. I think it looks absolutely sexy!!

Other than the fashion/style, food is something that gives me immense happiness. So, on this ethnic day I wish to highlight the Tripuri traditional dishes that were prepared by my friend at a friends and family gathering. The traditional food of my state (Tripura) is delicious and succulent burst of flavours. One must definitely try out the Chakhui/Chakhwi and steamed fish in turmeric leave. The smell of the dish is just heavenly!

Trendy Check Blazer Obsession

Hi my loves! Hope you are doing well! It’s been a while since my last post, oh my gosh! past one month have been craaaazy! I’ve been quite busy with my work, new projects, campaigns and other activities, however finally I’m back with full of positive energy!
We have been having such an amazing weather here in Bangalore these past few days and so today’s post is all about cosy yet classy check blazer look. Hope you guys enjoy!

Who said you cannot wear a jacket over shorts? Create a semi-formal street style look with just a few must-haves from your closet.

To get the look, you can start by grabbing any colour basic t-shirt and tuck it into high waist denim shorts/jeans/skirts depending on the event. For my look, I have picked a She-in casual V-neck black basic t-shirt and paired it up with a cute flower embroidered high waist denim short from Ni-Hao Fashion Store. Then to top it up, throw on a blazer for an extra touch of class. Currently, this white on grey check fitted double-breasted jacket from H&M is my favourite and I love to pair it with any outfit for a semi-formal/smart casual look. This jacket gave a relaxed yet formal look because the colour is less bold and more of a soft shade which is perfect for a day/night.

Next up, it’s the time to put on a nice boots but remember girls! It’s not wintering yet. So you can just grab a light summer boots/ oxford shoes/sneaker and you are ready to walk the street 😉To glam up the look, I have put on a black thigh high boots from Ni-Hao Fashion Store as in the picture. Then I have pushed the length of the boot down just below my knee since Bangalore has a moderate temperature and the weather allows us to totally rock those boots. So girls, what are you waiting for? Grab this simple yet classy effortless look for a day out with your girlfriends/ interview/dates/ for an evening to a party!

Lastly, a little accessory is a must for any outfit I feel. With this look, any classic leather bag whether its an iconic (like the picture)/sling/satchel bag and a sun glass/watch/earring will be the best! Remember girls, don’t be afraid of experimenting with your looks and let your body flatter with new styles and colour!

Thank you so much for visiting my page. See you guys soon with another look. Stay tuned, don’t forget to comment your suggestions and show your support.
